Overview
Mitie Intelligence Services (MIS) – Intelligence Hub is recruiting for an Intelligence Support Analyst within the Watchkeeper 24/7 team. The role focuses on emerging and ongoing threats both nationally and internationally. The Intelligence Hub provides an open-source intelligence (OSINT) capability to Mitie and its clients, identifying potential threats to client staff and operations and delivering timely, actionable threat intelligence to inform decision-making and mitigation. The team also supports major incident communications and bespoke digital investigations for security requirements.

Intelligence Support Analyst
Job Purpose
To deliver reliable, actionable intelligence concerning crime and security threats to the client, identifying threats, vulnerabilities and risks impacting loss and safety, and contributing to creating a safe and secure environment for staff and customers. Reporting to Intelligence Hub Operations Management. Direct reports: None.
Responsibilities
* Provide the highest standards of intelligence collation, evaluation and analysis to influence key decision-makers and foster partnerships with law enforcement and other authorities as appropriate.
* Proactively merge intelligence from disparate qualitative and quantitative sources and draw inferences based on client needs.
* Use OSINT to identify security threats to clients’ people and property, escalating as appropriate.
* Support the analytical work of the intelligence analyst team to produce a variety of intelligence products.
* Support major incident response, communicating with relevant stakeholders in a timely, accurate and concise manner.
* Maintain mass communications software, including regular updating of clients’ contact details and preferences.
* Use bulk data within Excel and other software to produce baseline security threat assessments for client assets.
* Conduct other research or duties as required by the Intelligence Operations Manager.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and company and client quality standards.
* Flexibility to work weekend and night shifts across an eight-week shift pattern.
Key Skills and Experience
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and conducting other types of internet-based research.
* Ability to research multiple online sources and collate large pieces of security-specific information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with colleagues, clients and senior management professionally.
* Experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
* Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and bespoke software; intermediate Excel skills with desire to develop further.
* Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* A positive attitude, ability to work under pressure and a willingness to learn and develop.
* Ability to work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional service to the client.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience working in an intelligence environment.
* Experience using OSINT to identify security threats.
* Degree educated or equivalent.
