With 1000 lawyers, 300 partners, 29 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Patents team, with the addition of a Patents Paralegal. The opportunity for you We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Patents Paralegal with a background in intellectual property or commercial litigation. This role will involve supporting our lawyers in complex patent matters, including litigation, strategic counselling, and transactional IP work. Key responsibilities · Assist lawyers in patent-related litigation, including organising documentation and managing case files. · Preparing trial bundles for court hearings. · Managing action lists on larger matters and assisting with the allocation of work flows. · Conducting legal and technical research. · Attending client and expert meetings. · Supporting disclosure review exercises. Knowledge, skills and experience · A bachelor's degree; paralegal certification desired but not essential. · Experience as a paralegal focusing on intellectual property or commercial litigation. · An interest in patent litigation and transactional IP matters. · Strong communication skills for effectively collaborating with both clients and cross-functional teams within the firm. · Proven organisational abilities to manage complex tasks concurrently under tight deadlines.
