About the Role
We have worked with an SEN (SEMH) school in Wallington who are currently looking for two SEN teachers for the summer term and beyond. This is a lovely school that need two teachers for both their primary and secondary site.
This is a lovely and welcoming school with an incredibly warm staff. We currently have multiple people who we have placed in the school that all recommend it as a highly positive working environment.
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled SEN Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school community. The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including (but not limited to) ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who believes in inclusive education and is driven to help every child achieve their full potential.
The school are looking to meet and recruit the right candidate as soon as possible. This would be for a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies
Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Promote students’ social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with special educational needs
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
Excellent behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
