Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences. Your main duties will include:
11. Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in preparation and cooking of all food items
12. Setting up and maintaining counters to the school’s high standards
13. Reporting equipment issues or resource needs to the Head Chef or Store Manager
14. Assisting with events and contributing to menu planning and development
15. Maintaining hygiene standards and compliance with health & safety regulations
16. Cleaning and deep-cleaning kitchen areas and equipment as required
17. Following school policies on uniform, break times, and customer interactions
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Chef or Cook with:
18. Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 1 & 2, or equivalent experience)
19. Experience in a similar kitchen role and use of kitchen machinery
20. Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
21. Ability to work calmly under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail
22. Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach
23. Commitment to upholding high food hygiene and safety standards
