Job Purpose (No Sponsorship) To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in the nursery. To work as part of a team to provide a safe and stimulating environment that supports every childs development. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. Support the planning and implementation of daily activities, routines, and learning opportunities. Observe, assess, and record each childs development and progress. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and team members. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and secure. Encourage independence, confidence, and self-esteem in all children. Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding and child protection procedures. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities. Requirements Essential: Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, BTEC in Early Years). Sound knowledge of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding. Experience working with children aged 05 years. Good communication and team-working skills. A caring, patient, and nurturing approach. Desirable: First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates. Experience in planning activities and writing observations. Previous experience in a private day nursery setting.
