Recycling Bin Tagging Operative x 5 Role Overview Work as part of a small team led by a Team Leader to travel across Kent, tagging and labelling commercial recycling bins using tagging guns. Starting from a base in Sittingbourne, you'll operate vehicles to reach businesses, ensure correct labelling, record data, and support recycling quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Driving with team leader in a company vehicle across Kent (Mon–Fri, 07:00–17:30), following routes pre-defined by the Team Leader. Use tagging guns to attach labels/tags to commercial recycling bins—indicating collection schedules, contamination alerts, recycling guidance, etc. Record bin locations, tag application, and any contamination issues in daily logs. Collaborate closely with the Team Leader to meet daily tagging targets and maintain quality standards. Report issues like damaged bins, customer queries, or access challenges. Adhere to site‑specific health, safety, and environmental protocols. Maintain a clean and professional appearance for equipment and vehicle. Provide basic insight to customers on tagging purpose and recycling practices when required. Working Conditions & Schedule Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30 (10.5 hrs/day). Start Base: Sittingbourne, Kent. pay £12.21ph hours 7am - 17.30pm Qualifications & Skills Basic familiarity or willingness to learn tagging equipment (manual tagging guns). Good geographical knowledge of Kent or aptitude with navigation systems. Physically capable of working outdoors, handling tags and occasional bin movements. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping. Reliable, punctual, and able to work to morning schedules. Excellent communication skills; polite engagement with commercial clients.
