Job Profile
This post sits in the Applications Team within the Technology & Innovation service. You will support applications with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, work with colleagues, suppliers, and partner agencies to deliver real value adding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage applications support and system development of business‑critical applications for functions such as Adult Social Care, Children’s Social Care, Children’s Education and Revenues & Benefits.
* Design, configure and maintain the organisation’s SharePoint Online platform to support effective collaboration and information management across departments.
* Provide expert advice on SharePoint Online architecture, features, compliance and security best practices.
* Operate within a hybrid working model with a 37‑hour flexi‑time schedule (7 am‑7 pm) and service cover 9 am‑5 pm Mon‑Thu and 9 am‑4:30 pm Fri.
* Collaborate across departments and partner agencies to drive forward change and break through traditional organisational boundaries.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint Online (architecture, features, security and compliance).
* Experience in application support and system development within a public sector or similar environment.
* Level 4 criteria within the relevant specification (specific criteria to be checked in the application form).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
