* Brand new opportunity within our Claims MI and Analytics team
* Utilise your passion for data and interest in insurance to carve out your career
* Open to discussing flexible working hours for this new role
About the role
As a Claims Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping us make informed, data-led decisions across our Head Office Claims function. This is a new opportunity to develop your career, working within a collaborative team, learning from specialists, and supporting the business by monitoring and analysing claim trends to provide valuable insights.
Your work will directly impact how we monitor, understand, and manage claims performance. Responsibilities include regular reporting, delivering ad hoc projects, maintaining dashboards using SQL and Power BI, and creating new visualisations for claims insights.
You’ll work closely with experienced analysts, developing your skills and taking ownership of your tasks. Building relationships with stakeholders across claims will ensure they get maximum value from our reports.
This role is based at our Tiddington Head Office, near Stratford-Upon-Avon. We support flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, and remote options, to promote work-life balance.
About you
You have a keen eye for detail and experience in accessing and visualising data to monitor financial or customer metrics. Whether working independently or in a team, you’re motivated to use data to make a difference and pride yourself on delivering actionable insights.
You’re comfortable handling datasets and proficient in Excel, with experience in Power BI or SQL being advantageous. You communicate findings clearly and enjoy engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Your analytical mindset and solutions-focused approach help you identify trends and solve problems effectively.
Experience in insurance is a plus but not essential; eagerness to learn about our industry is important. Above all, you’re proactive, customer-focused, and motivated to grow in your role.
At NFU Mutual, we value diversity and inclusivity, supporting candidates through adjustments during recruitment. We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
