About the Role
Take full responsibility for a class of pupils within Key Stage 1 or 2 (year group depending on experience and preference)
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and inspired to learn
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child makes progress and achieves their potential
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed to support varied learning styles
Ensure safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies are upheld at all times
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be:
A qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching in primary settings (KS1 or KS2) - ECTs will be considered for this position
Passionate about delivering high-quality, creative learning experiences
A reflective practitioner who is keen to grow professionally
Positive, energetic, and resilient with excellent communication skills
Committed to building strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Confident in classroom management and supporting a range of learning needs
