This is a hands-on maintenance role working across electrical and mechanical plant equipment, process machinery, motors, drives, pumps, sensors, control systems, site services and associated infrastructure. The role would suit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer or Process Plant Engineer with strong fault-finding ability and experience in an industrial, manufacturing, utilities, food production, recycling, renewable energy or process plant environment. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs across both electrical and mechanical equipment. You will also support plant performance, use maintenance systems, help identify reliability improvements and assist with engineering projects, installations and site upgrades. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical plant equipment Diagnose and repair breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime Fault-find on motors, drives, pumps, sensors, control systems and process equipment Complete maintenance work in line with safe systems of work and engineering standards Record maintenance activity, defects and corrective actions using engineering software Support plant performance monitoring through SCADA and site systems Help improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall site performance Support planned shutdowns, engineering projects and site modifications Source parts and help manage critical spares and stock levels Supervise contractors and ensure safe working practices are followed Take part in the site call-out rota, typically 1 in 4 Promote high standards of health, safety and engineering compliance What Were Looking For Level 3 or above electrical engineering qualification 18th Edition qualification Electrically biased engineer with mechanical maintenance experience Experience in maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repair Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using a maintenance management system Good understanding of safe systems of work Contractor supervision experience Full driving licence or ability to travel between sites Flexible approach to call-out and out-of-hours support Useful Experience Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: Anaerobic digestion Renewable energy Food waste recycling Food production FMCG Utilities Process plant Industrial manufacturing Pumps, motors, conveyors, drives, sensors or SCADA Forklift, telehandler or MEWP qualifications Welding or fabrication experience Why Apply?
