Working hours: Monday – Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Radiotherapist to join our client’s team in Brighton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality radiotherapy treatment to patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and support, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients undergoing radiotherapy.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver precise and effective radiotherapy treatments, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
* Prepare and position patients for treatment, operate radiotherapy equipment, and monitor patients during procedures.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records.
* Provide education and support to patients throughout their treatment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Radiotherapy or related field
* HCPC registration
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiotherapy
* Proficiency in operating radiotherapy equipment
* Strong understanding of radiotherapy techniques and protocols
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to continuous professional development
