We seek an experienced Risk Management professional to join our team responsible for providing comprehensive Audit and Risk Management services across the council.
Your role will be vital in helping the council meet its objectives by applying innovative Risk Management tools and ensuring the strategy aligns with the council’s Programme of Work and The Plan for North Lanarkshire.
This position offers a hybrid working model, with office-based work at Civic Centre, Motherwell. You should be a confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continual improvement. A creative thinker with a professional approach to colleagues at all levels is essential for developing a quality Risk Management service.
Qualifications required include HND/SVQ4/degree level or equivalent, with significant risk management experience in a large public or private sector organization. Experience in risk management initiatives, advising on risk, developing risk registers, and monitoring risk information is necessary. IRM membership and a Risk Management qualification are desirable.
