As a Bank Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include ensuring the service's facilities are fit for purpose, gardening, and regularly conducting audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring safety for service users, staff, and visitors. You will work alongside an established team, handling maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors, and supporting the upkeep of the service.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Using good DIY skills to maintain safety for service users.
* Performing regular checks and maintenance.
* Repairing and maintaining all buildings.
* Assisting with decorating tasks.
* Liaising with managers to report faults and defects.
* Participating in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
* Supporting contractors on site and completing related paperwork and tool checks.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a maintenance role.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Showing courtesy and respect to residents at all times.
* Attending and participating in training sessions and staff meetings.

Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN. Situated next to Gatwick Airport, working at Farmfield Hospital, caring for adult men aged 18+ who may have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues, and challenging behaviors.
