About the Role We are seeking a proactive and reliable Caretaker/Driver to support the day-to-day running of our facilities in Spalding. This is a varied, hands-on role involving general maintenance, health and safety checks, driving duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of building services and grounds. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out first line repairs and basic maintenance of fixtures, fittings, and equipment Completing statutory health and safety checks, including testing lighting, alarms, and plant systems Supporting porterage tasks such as setting up rooms for meetings, events, and office relocations Managing consumable stock levels and maintaining a high standard of service provision Handling waste collection and disposal, including operating shredding equipment Providing a first response to equipment issues and undertaking minor repairs Assisting with cleaning duties when required, including specialist areas Maintaining outdoor areas, including grounds upkeep, snow clearance, and gritting Carrying out courier and driving duties, including transporting equipment, mail, and personnel Checking, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles, as well as monitoring fuel supplies Why This Role Matters This role is essential in ensuring that facilities, equipment, and services operate safely and efficiently.
