TP Tutors (part of Teaching Personnel) are working with local authorities to provide 1:1 tuition to children in care in the Daventry. We have seen an increase in tuition requests to support pupils ahead of their GCSE’s and core subject specialists would be beneficial to fulfil current demand. However, we do also cater to KS1 and KS2 pupils so welcome applicants from all backgrounds. The role of a Core Subjects Tutor: Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary ) Planning individualised programmes of learning Tutoring within the home environment Tailoring your approach – supporting children to learn and progress at their own pace. The requirements for the role of a Core Subjects Tutor: Hold a QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching certificate. At least a minimum of two years previous teaching experience Experience working with either primary or secondary pupils. Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place. Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments. Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
