Clean Tech is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid certification and opportunities for advancement.
Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Location: Dundee, MI
Pay: $18.75/hr
Shifts: 7am-4pm Mon-Fri

* Over Time: Time and a half for anything over 40 hours. All Sundays are Double Time
What you’ll be doing:
* Operate forklift to load, unload and move materials to and from production lines, hold and transport areas
* Inspect and count materials, documenting key information
* Shovel loose materials into containers for inspection
* Perform general warehouse duties
* Move and load bulk trucks/cars manually
* Be in a harness to load a rail car or bulk truck approximately 20’ in the air.
What’s Required to be a Forklift Operator?
* Forklift experience of at least 1 year required
* E xperience related to resin, liquid, or grain Bulk Loading of Trucks and Rail, perferred
Physical Requirements
* Lifting Requirements: up to 50lbs frequently
* Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs
* Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell and extreme weather
* Ability to meet phsyical demands of climbing on/off bulk trucks & rail cars for duration of shift
* Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Able to work at heights up to 20 feet using proper PPE
