KOPLANT is a training provider which enables us to deliver a range of training and testing, from visiting companies on site in their workplace to completing it at our training centres in classrooms and practical areas.
KOAST (Southern) is our partner company which specialises in Highways and Street Works, which is key to proving our efficiency and knowledge upon various training demands.
We are looking for an Instructor / Assessor within Dorset, Southampton, Portsmouth and London area to build with us and enhance your skills to the top!
(Qualifications preferred however Instructor training is an option to the right candidate)
Responsibilities
* Conduct various types of training daily and work efficiently to complete jobs for customer demand.
* Work well in a team and complete work when training alongside other Instructors.
* Train operatives on the plant to the required standards and ensure safe practices are implemented. (In-house, NPORS / CPCS)
* Test operatives on plant and equipment for competency and follow applicable guidelines and legislation from awarding bodies. (In-house, NPORS / CPCS)
* Assess candidates for their NVQ assessments and profiles.
* Complete CSCS training along with Health and Safety courses.
* Deliver NRSWA and EUSR courses.
* Operate plant and equipment for training purposes when required.
* Drive to and from locations in company vehicle.
* Ensure Continuous Professional Development and attend training courses.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in Construction and 3+ years on each plant ticket held.
* Full UK driving license.
* Valid CSCS card.
* Valid operator cards (NPORS / CPCS) and be able to prove competency upon internal assessment.
* NVQ’s in required plant and skilled work.
* Have sufficient experience operating Dumpers, Rollers, Excavators, Telehandlers.
* Have sufficient experience in control equipment such as power tools, disc cutters, cable avoidance tools.
* Holds Level 3 Assessor Award. (preferred)
* Experience in delivering practical training and courses. (preferred)
* NEBOSHH (preferred)
