Your new role As Administration Grants Officer within the Community Planning & Development team, you will provide professional, confidential, and high-quality administrative support across a range of service areas. Your responsibilities will include: Diary management and scheduling for senior staff Handling correspondence, coding invoices, and maintaining filing systems Responding to public and community group queries Supporting the development and maintenance of the Community Plan and associated databases Assisting with the organisation of meetings, training sessions, and promotional campaigns Attending community planning functions in an administrative capacity Providing cover for administrative duties in community centres and across the wider team This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week), with occasional evening, weekend, and public holiday work required to meet service needs. The post is based in Ballymena in accessible premises, and some travel may be required. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria: Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C or above) At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a busy office environment, including: Managing high volumes of work Prioritising competing demands Using office technology (e.g., Word Processing) Or alternatively At least 3 years’ administrative experience in a busy office environment, including the above competencies Additionally, you should be: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Highly organised with excellent attention to detail A confident communicator with a professional approach Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and willing to travel for work-related duties What you'll get in return £14.13per hour Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
