About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Distribution Quality Controller to support the day-to-day management of vehicle damage and technical issues across UK and EU distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Issue Management:
Manage the shared team inbox and allocate queries to the relevant stakeholders.
Raise and maintain PVRs within D42, ensuring accurate updates from initial report through to repair completion.
Provide structured updates during weekly review meetings, escalating delays or issues where necessary.
Maintain logs relating to vehicle fuel requirements, boost starts and all rechargeables including special moves, repairs, tyres and transport costs.
Repair & Technical Coordination
Liaise with authorised repairers, ports, retailers and technical teams across the UK and EU.
Progress vehicle repairs through contracted partners and approved European repairers.
Arrange customs clearance where required.
Verify TQM completion and ensure accurate DOT code recording for all PVRs.
Ensure vehicle statuses and operational holds are correctly applied and communicated to stakeholders.
Damage Prevention & Quality Assurance
Monitor damage reports from key ports of exit to prevent affected vehicles being shipped to sensitive markets.
Request and manage operational holds where required, ensuring alignment with Technical Quality teams.
Conduct follow-up checks using DeGould systems for tyre or factory-related damage.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Produce regular operational reports for stakeholders including vehicle status and market updates.
Follow up on quotations and coordinate special moves where vehicles cannot be transported by liable carriers.
Support ad hoc operational requests and stakeholder engagements as directed by the Technical Quality line manager.
About You:
Experience in logistics, automotive operations, supply chain, or technical coordination is desirable but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams and Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and escalate issues appropriately.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
