Overview
Medical Laboratory Assistant role in the Cervical Screening Department in Central London. The laboratory is based in The Halo Building, located near St Pancras and Euston mainline stations. This is a full-time position.
Location: 1 Mabledon Place, London. Contract: Permanent. Hours: 37.5 per week. Salary: Up to £27,007.50 per annum DOE.
Responsibilities
* Receive samples, enter data, and process cervical screening samples.
* Work as part of the team to support the NHS Cervical Screening Service (hr-HPV testing and cervical cytology).
* Assist with processing in a high-volume laboratory (approximately 650,000 tests per annum in the London Region).
The successful applicant will be positive, proactive, a good team player, and have an eye for detail. Some laboratory experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
