We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative (Loader) to join our team at our Craigavon site. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a supportive team.
Balanced Schedule: We have a shift pattern of 16.00 pm – 00.00 am (midnight) Monday to Friday, offering regular rest days and a predictable rota
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Key Responsibilities
* Load outgoing trailers to customer requirements
* Ensure all loads are scanned to trailers for full traceability
* Unload trailers arriving from other sites
* Complete all paperwork accurately for incoming and outgoing loads
* Cross dock trailers where required
* Maintain correct temperature controls and food safety standards
* Work with both high cube and standard trailers
* Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety procedures and GMP standards
* Maintain high hygiene standards within the working area
* Carry out any other duties as required
Working Environment
* Chilled dispatch area
* Physically demanding role involving:
* Order picking
* Building pallets
* Lorry loading
* Extensive manual handling
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Ability to read and write English
* Good numeracy skills
* Counterbalance forklift licence
Desirable:
* Previous dispatch/loading experience
* WMS knowledge including scanners/Protean
* Knowledge of trailer fridge settings
* PPT licence & experience
* Ride-on PPT licence
* Shunter licence
* Reach truck licence
* Good IT skills
