The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business unit is seeking an F-15 Project Engineer to support F-15 Software Development and Advanced Programs in Berkeley, MO. As a member of the team, you will coordinate across disciplines to drive project execution for F-15 Domestic activities. This role involves close interaction with Mission Systems, and familiarity with hardware and software development is highly valuable. You will work closely with program managers and the customer, gaining visibility to leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Provide engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including internal and external resources, management, and customers.
2. Develop statement of work (SOW) to meet research, development, and business requirements.
3. Respond to changes in SOW, assess impacts, and negotiate modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules.
4. Lead project execution to complete work on time, with quality and safety considerations.
5. Identify performance metrics and coordinate resources throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunities.
7. Compare actual results to baseline plans to evaluate performance, efficiency, and lessons learned.
8. Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for project or team planning.
Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Clearance:
This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance is needed post-start.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
* Level 4: 9+ years with a Bachelors, 7+ with a Masters, or 4+ with a PhD.
* Experience with systems architecture, requirements development, and test & verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
* Earned Value Management experience.
* Experience with SAFE Agile software teams and avionics systems.
* Experience working on fighter aircraft.
Additional Details:
Education typically acquired through advanced technical education and related work experience. Relocation assistance may be available. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. No visa sponsorship is provided. The shift is 1st shift. Compensation ranges from $114,750 to $189,750 depending on level and experience.
