Outreach Worker - Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outreach Worker to join a secondary school in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. This role is designed to strengthen family engagement and improve student outcomes, playing a vital part within the pastoral team and ensuring there is a trusted and structured bridge between school and home life.
Responsibilities
* Building relationships with families to support students struggling with attendance, engagement & wellbeing.
* Liaising with pastoral, academic, SEND, and safeguarding teams to deliver tailored support plans.
* Helping families understand school processes and how to best support their child.
Qualifications
* Someone with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
* The ability to work with sensitivity, empathy, and patience.
* Prior experience working with young people is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people and families.
