In a recent survey 86% said they would recommend James Latham as a great place to work. We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Operative to join our established team based in Fareham. The successful candidate will join our Night Shift team working 9.30pm to 6am Sunday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised and an excellent communicator with a can-do positive attitude They must be reliable and a good timekeeper, a valid Combilift or Counterbalance licence is a bonus but not essential for the right candidate. You must be able to conduct manual handling work picking orders, though we do make use of mechanical plant equipment where possible. Whilst experience of working with timber products would be an advantage, it is not essential as training will be provided. Key duties for our Night Shift Operatives are: - Complying with Company Health & Safety policies and procedures. - excellent communication with staff at all levels - Keeping the sit clean and tidy. - forklift operation, loading of lorries, picking orders - Working well on your own and as part of a small close team You’ll be working in a modern and well-equipped environment which provides opportunities to develop and grow your career.
