We are seeking a confident and capable Accountant for a 6 month temporary role. This interim position requires a self-sufficient, hands-on finance professional who will take full responsibility for month-end close activities, multi-entity accounting, and group reporting tasks in a time-pressured environment. The Accountant will have overall responsibility for the preparation and review of the EMEAI subsidiaries' management accounts - the local teams provide trial balances and the Accountant will review, challenge, and liaise with local teams to resolve any issues before consolidation. In addition, you will lead on group-level close activities for accruals, prepayments, and investment bonds which feed directly into the consolidated group management accounts, the role may also include preparing slides for the board pack and presenting those to the team. The Accountant role requires someone with strong attention to detail in reconciliations, end-to-end ownership of the trial balance, experience with small entities, and the ability to consolidate reporting from subsidiaries.
