An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2 HCA post within our regional Cancer Centre. The post holder would be responsible for supporting the running of Outpatient Clinics for cancer patients and supporting clinical staff. We are looking for hard‑working, enthusiastic people with good communication skills to join our busy team. Previous experience is desirable to assist in the provision of high‑quality care to patients and their families under the direction and supervision of the Multi‑Disciplinary Team.
Demonstrate a range of nursing skills to meet the needs of patients whilst promoting dignity, privacy and respect. Comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers. Provide a range of healthcare and non‑nursing duties, ensuring an efficient and effective service to the ward/department at all times.
The post holder will assist the clinic staff and doctors in the care of patients in the Oncology Outpatients setting. They will also provide professional and efficient clerical, administrative and receptionist duties in order to support the registered nurse.
