LADIESWEAR FASHION ACCOUNT MANAGER
POTTERS BAR (HERTFORDSHIRE)
UP TO £45K DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE
Our client a highly successful fashion brand and supplier are looking to recruit an experienced Ladieswear Fashion Account Manager to join their team and manage multiple high street accounts such as NEXT, ASOS many more. This is a great opportunity to work for a very successful and well established company that is seeing very strong growth. The successful candidates will have at least 2 years + working for a fashion supplier and managing high street retail accounts within ladieswear .
Responsibilities
Manging High street accounts - Main point of contact for customers/high street retailers and China office suppliers for e-mail, phone and Whatsapp/WeChat communication (ASOS, NEXT ) and many more
Request prices from China office and quote to customers, ensuring target margins are achieved
Price negotiation and confirmation to enable PO’s to be raised
Problem solving, suggesting solutions and decision making
Continued awareness of upcoming booking deadlines and ensuring relevant team members are kept informed
Ensuring sample submission and PO deadlines are met
Prioritising development and working closely with Design to ensure each brand has sufficient development in work for the next phase of buying
Check and trouble shoot design specs (i.e. pre-empt potential issues with sourcing, mould costs, lead times, production feasibility, product duplication)
Maximising order potential for each brand is critical to this role;
including: Chasing range feedback
Asking buyers what they are missing or may have under-potentialised
Researching and suggesting new product ideas to put forward to buyers/designers which may update best sellers or satisfy upcoming trends. Ideas may be presented as individual images
Triggering samples in collaboration with Design
Pushing for orders
Monitoring the size of orders due for each delivery date and requesting to consolidate where necessary to meet individual consignment requirements
Conduct web research / comp shop trips and report findings in a clear, concise format
Work with Design to ensure seasonal trend reports are generated at key points (i.e. start of each season, after catwalks and ahead of product/development meetings)
Attending client meetings in UK and overseas business trips when necessary
Managing courier in the absence of an assistant
Requirements
A minimum of 2 +years fashion industry experience in supply, buying/merch or account management with high street retailers such as NEXT AND ASOS and many more in the UK and over seas
proficiency in office software packages (MS Excel/Powerpoint/Word/Photoshop)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (excellent English skills)
Strong organisational skills, time management and the ability to adapt quickly to change
Ability to manage multiple projects whilst paying strict attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Self-motivation is essential!
Professional demeanour and strong work ethic
Product knowledge fashion/ childrenswear would be highly beneficial
Relationship building is a key part of this role and therefore the successful candidate will be friendly, approachable and personable
The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic and willing to partake in all tasks associated with working for a small business
Full clean UK driving licence
