Bid Manager
Location: Any of the following locations; Buckinghamshire, South Coast, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle
Salary: £50k to £60k
Full time: Permanent
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
Our client is a growing and highly innovative technology solutions business with a national network of offices and wider global presence. This is an exciting opportunity to join their central Bid function where you will be responsible for producing tailored propositions that support their sales teams with large volumes of professional, differentiated, and compellingly written content.
We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead our client’s tender process. You will be responsible for gathering information, producing bid documents, and managing resources to ensure all submissions are compliant and delivered on time.
The Role
* Author and develop high-impact, persuasive responses to bids and tenders.
* Ensure all proposals are fully aligned with brand identity and bid management best practices.
* Project manage multiple, simultaneous bids by effectively coordinating with various internal teams and subject matter experts.
* Track and analyse tender results to report on key metrics and inform future bid strategy.
* Actively contribute to team projects within the Bid Centre and continuously enriching the company-wide knowledge library.
Who we are looking for
* Prior experience handling bids in the technology sector is beneficial but not essential.
* Skilled in managing bids in line with best practices, with knowledge across all core areas of bid management.
* Possession of APMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
* Capable of working autonomously while quickly establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
