This role is for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair and improvement of production machinery within a high-volume environment in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of operational effectiveness.

Description
* Perform regular inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
* Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement production efficiency improvements.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
* Manage spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
* Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Monday - Friday-06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician should have:
* A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
