Role: Activities Coordinator
Location: Sunderland
Contract: Permanent, 16 hours per week

About the Role:
As an Activities Coordinator, you will promote social and mental well-being by creating and delivering diverse activities tailored to residents' needs, interests, and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver engaging activities fostering connection, joy, and purpose.
* Work with residents to understand their interests and involve them in planning.
* Build meaningful relationships using residents' stories and experiences.
* Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth activity execution, sourcing supplies and resolving issues.
* Maintain records of participation and activity plans.
About You:
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and creative.
* Empathetic and understanding of older people's needs, including those with dementia.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport and foster relationships.
* Patient, calm, and tactful in sensitive situations.
* A supportive team player passionate about making a difference.
