This role is perfect for an experienced Escalator Engineer with a solid escalator engineering background in routine service and preventative maintenance.
This role is anights only role, offering a 4 on, 4 off schedule.
Commutable from:Gatwick, Crawley, London, Redhill, Wimbledon, Streatham, Horsham, Dorking, Orpington, Mitcham, Croydon, Chessington
Ideal Escalator Engineer Candidate:
* NVQ 3 Escalator Engineering - Essential
* Full, clean driving license - Essential
* 2 years of experience as an Escalator Engineer familiar with an on-call rota
* Confident managing your own servicing tasks and performing routine maintenance on escalators from a range of manufacturers
* You live a commutable distance from Croydon
Key Responsibilities - Escalator Engineer:
* Carry out routine service, maintenance, and inspections on all types of escalator packages in the company portfolio
* Diagnose and report any faults or potential issues identified during scheduled services
* Ensure all service records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Report escalator performance issues proactively and escalate to your Service Manager/ service department as needed
* Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
* Adhere to the company's health and safety policies at all times
