The Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Service provides high-quality learning opportunities for adults and families across the Dudley borough. We offer a wide range of courses including English, Maths, ESOL, ICT, Health and Wellbeing, and Family Learning.
Our courses are delivered in
three welcoming and accessible neighbourhood learning centres
and for this post you will be required to deliver in a school setting

We Are Currently Seeking a
Highly motivated, well-qualified, and inspiring tutor
to join our Family Learning team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the
Curriculum Team
to co-design and deliver a vibrant, responsive curriculum that reflects local needs and the Curriculum that is taught in schools
. You will play a key part in ensuring every learner has a meaningful and successful experience.
We are looking for a Family Learning Tutor who has experience of working in a school or Childcare setting and are able to teach the below.
* English
* Maths
* Family Learning
* Health and Wellbeing
* or any other subject delivered in an school curriculum
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused sessions
* Support learners to progress and achieve
* Collaborate with colleagues to design an innovative curriculum
* Teach in a range of community venues, both daytime and evenings (occasional weekends)
Essential Criteria
* A recognised teaching qualification
* Experience working with adult learners
* Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, RARPA, and quality assurance processes
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
* Strong ICT skills
