The Firestopping Engineer's Role The Firestopping Engineer will be responsible for carrying out fire stopping installations, inspections and remedial works across a range of projects. They will seal service penetrations, joints, walls and floors using approved fire-resistant materials, ensuring works are completed in line with fire safety regulations and project requirements. The Firestopping Engineer will read drawings, follow fire safety plans, use PDA-based systems where required, and communicate clearly with managers, clients and site teams. They will also help identify delays, maintain strong site standards and represent the business in a professional manner.
