DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Data Analytics & Computational Sciences specialist (Data Governance & Policy) across several countries, including Czechia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of master data across commercial systems and applications.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the maintenance and integrity of master data across multiple platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Develop and implement data management strategies that comply with data protection regulations, including GDPR, while addressing internal business needs.
* Identify opportunities for data process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement solutions, including new consent collection approaches and system integrations.
* Utilize tools such as Power BI and Excel to create analytical reports and dashboards that provide insights into key performance metrics and drive business decision‑making.
* Participate in the implementation of new Master Data Management (MDM) systems, supporting testing, training, and data preparation activities for system migrations and integrations.
* Work closely with various departments to facilitate data alignment and accuracy, ensuring all teams have access to reliable master data for operational efficiency.
* Help establish and implement programs and innovative initiatives for the Data Governance & Master Data area, under general supervision.
* Contribute to components of projects, programs, or processes for the Data Governance & Master Data area.
* Develop control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.
* Support maintenance of commercial customer content, business glossary, data integration, data lineage, and data management activities.
* Ensure processes for data asset management, data quality, and issue resolution align with business needs and keep data clean and healthy.
* Understand and apply Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day‑to‑day interactions with the team.
