Payroll Specialist - 6 month FTC at Thinkways Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Hybrid: Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the office.
Role overview: We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Payroll Specialist to join our Group Payroll Team within People Operations. The role involves managing multiple payrolls and reconciliation across the group, supporting business growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
* Processing multiple monthly payrolls accurately and on time – including new starters, leavers, and statutory payments.
* Managing end‑to‑end payroll reconciliation for 1,500–5,000 employees.
* Administering and auditing expenses in line with company policy.
* Handling payroll queries via phone, email, ServiceNow, or face‑to‑face.
* Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, and pension regulations (HMRC & TPR).
* Uploading net wages into banking systems and managing timely payment runs.
* Completing all month‑end payroll activities with accurate reporting for Finance.
* Supporting acquisitions, onboarding new entities, and data integrations.
* Assisting with system upgrades, implementations, and migrations—especially in Cascade.
* Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality across all payroll and HR systems.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a high‑volume payroll environment.
* Hands‑on experience with Cascade (essential) – knowledge of SD Worx or Dayforce is a plus.
* Experience supporting system migrations, data imports, or acquisition integrations.
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
* Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* A proactive, problem‑solving approach and ability to thrive under pressure.
