£94,000 - £103,000 per annum Indemnity paid + BMA model + 7 weeks leave
You will be joining a highly established and forward‑thinking GP organisation with an excellent local reputation and a strong track record of GP recruitment and retention. Our client is a recognised training practice, offering outstanding opportunities for teaching, education, and career progression.
The practice has a diverse, supportive clinical and management team and was an early adopter of the NHS Five Year Forward View, forming one of the area’s first super‑partnerships. There is a strong emphasis on preventative care, social prescribing, and high‑quality patient outcomes, while maintaining a traditional, patient‑centred ethos.
This opportunity has arisen due to one GP leaving and others reducing sessions, creating scope for a new Salaried GP to join a stable and well‑structured environment.
Salary – £10,500 – £11,500 per session + NHS pension + BMA Model Contract
Tier 2 Visa sponsorship – Available

The Surgery –
* Established multi‑site practice with a total list size of ~40,000 patients
* Three sites across Bedford
* Mixed demographic, including areas of deprivation
* CQC rated Good
* Strong training and educational foundation
* Highly connected within LMC and commissioning groups
* Robust support team including HCAs, paramedics, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and social prescribers
* System: SystmOne
* Forward‑thinking but traditionally patient‑focused culture
Your Role –
* Salaried GP
* 15 patients per session
* Home visits handled by paramedic team
* Duty Doctor supported by multiple GPs and minor illness nurses
* Some extended hours (occasional Saturday and one late evening fortnightly)
* Preferred GP list in place
* Interests particularly welcomed: Elderly Care, Frailty, Palliative Care, Practice Development
* Partnership opportunities available for the right candidate
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
