Phlebotomist | Permanent | Full-time hours | Slough | Spire Thames Valley are seeking a phlebotomist to join the pre-assessment team in a full-time permanent position. This is a great opportunity to join a world class healthcare business.
Main duties of the job

1. Assess individual needs prior to undertaking phlebotomy procedure.
2. Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
3. Contribute to own personal development.
4. Assist in maintaining own and others health and safety and security.
5. Assist in maintaining and developing services.
6. Ensure own actions help to maintain quality.
7. Plan, monitor and evaluate the movement of blood specimens.
8. Ensure own actions support equality, diversity and rights.
9. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Who we're looking for
19. Proven experience of phlebotomy in a clinical environment.
20. NVQ Direct Care Level 2 or equivalent experience.
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
22. Patient/customer facing experience
