Overview
Join to apply for the Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia. Salary up to £75,000 DOE. Relocation Allowance up to £5,000. Welcome Bonus up to £10,000. Location: Worle, near Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. This is a sole-charge Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon role in our Wellpets practice, with a supportive network across nearby IVC Evidensia practices.
We are happy to discuss both full-time (usually over 4 days) or part-time hours. There are no OOH duties, and we can discuss flexibility within your rota for a healthy work/life balance. You will be required to contribute to a Saturday rota (8:30am – 12:30pm). We have a strong support system from our local OOH service provider and partners such as Vale Portishead hospital for case discussion and mutual support.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality veterinary care as a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
* Manage cases in a sole-charge capacity with access to a broader IVC Evidensia network for collaboration
* Participate in the Saturday rota (8:30am – 12:30pm) and coordinate with the OOH service provider
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the practice and patient care with a collaborative approach
About the Practice & Location
Wellpets, Worle is a welcoming team in a cosy farm-house practice focused on meeting the needs of the local community. Worle is a suburban area located about 3 miles from Weston-super-Mare, offering a family-friendly environment with good transport links (M5, Bristol Airport, direct rail services to London and Bristol). The Yeovil branch is available for clinical discussions and mutual support.
