Job Summary:
We are seeking a HR Generalist that will support and administer various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, compliance, and performance management. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers and employees to ensure a positive and productive workplace environment while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment & Onboarding:
* Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
* Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding for new hires, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the organization.
* Employee Relations:
* Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
* Mediate and resolve conflicts or complaints within the workplace.
* Support a positive work culture by fostering open communication and employee engagement.
* Performance Management:
* Assist in the performance appraisal process and employee development programs.
* Help managers with setting performance goals and providing feedback.
* Support the disciplinary process and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Compensation & Benefits Administration:
* Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
* Assist in salary benchmarking and ensure compensation practices align with company policies.
* Training & Development:
* Coordinate and assist with training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance.
* Help identify training needs across the organization and ensure employee growth opportunities.
* Compliance:
* Ensure company policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
* Maintain accurate HR records and handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality.
* Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations.
* Employee Engagement:
* Help develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
* Monitor employee satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and one-on-one meetings.
* Assist in creating a work environment that supports employee morale and productivity.
· HR Reporting & Data Management:
* Maintain HR databases and generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring trends, and employee demographics.
* Analyze HR data to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in human resources or related roles.
* Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
* Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
