From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades. \n\nYour day as an apprentice: \n\nAs an Aggreko apprentice, every day is different. Each day starts with a team briefing on safety and priorities. Youâll then collaborate closely with a section leader and mentor who will help you develop your knowledge in product assembly and testing. Throughout, youâll build practical skills with hands-on support and guidance, always working safely to keep everyone safe. \n\nProgram Overview: \n\nBased at our Dumbarton depot (G82 3RG) \n\nDay release to Day release to Glasgow Caledonian University \n\nEnd qualification: BEng (Hons) Engineering (Design and Manufacture) \n\nDuration: 4 years \n\nStarting salary: £20,291 \n\nStart Date: August 2026 \n\nWhen you finish \n\nCompleting your apprenticeship opens the door to a range of exciting opportunities. What youâll learn and do \n\n Learn essential technical and safety skills through hands-on experience across manufacturing rotationsâAssembly, Test, and Product Release \n\nDevelop your knowledge and confidence using a range of hand tools \n\nDiagnose faults and troubleshoot issues \n\nWork safely to keep everyone safe \n\nFrom year 3, you will transition to engineering teams to build the specialist engineering skills needed for a successful career at Aggreko\n\nCollaborate with teams to deliver excellent service and contribute to key projects \n\nUse IT tools like laptops and mobile devices to support your work \n\nBalance practical work experience with college study towards a BEng (Hons) Graduate Apprenticeship in Engineering (Design and Manufacture) What you need to apply \n\nFour Highers at BBCC including maths and a science or technology subject, or MA/HNC in engineering (or equivalent) \n\nA positive and reliable attitude \n\nGood communication and teamwork skills \n\nBe a problem-solver, always willing to take on a challenge
