<div><p>We are an acute Teaching Hospital Trust recruiting two HR Advisors to join our People Services Advisory Team on a fixed‑term basis to cover maternity leave. In this varied and busy role, you will support the HR Manager and Senior HR Business Partner, working closely with a designated division.</p><p>You will be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience) and hold CIPD Graduate membership, with experience gained in a large and complex organisation. You will work autonomously, managing a caseload of employee relations and sickness absence cases, balancing competing priorities and contributing to policy development and review.</p><p>Working in partnership with People Managers, you will provide pragmatic, responsive and legally compliant HR advice that supports the People Strategy and contributes to Workforce, Divisional and Corporate objectives. You will uphold the Trust’s values and help foster a culture that attracts, supports and retains a diverse and engaged workforce committed to delivering excellent patient care.</p><p>Applicants who do not currently hold a full CIPD Level 5 qualification may be considered under Annex 21 of the NHS Terms and Conditions, subject to meeting the required criteria.</p><p>This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis; however, there is potential for it to become permanent at a later date without the need for readvertisement.</p><b>This vacancy may close earlier than advertised if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.</b><p>The HR Advisor is responsible for the delivery of a proactive, effective, and high‑quality Human Resource service to Divisional Managers, Medical Managers, and employees, which is responsive to the needs of the organisation.</p><p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering operational HR, ensuring the provision is efficient, effective, and business focused within recognised external and internal standards. The post holder will ensure that the service can meet the evolving needs of managers and employees in the Trust in line with the People Strategy, the quality agenda for patients and service users and develop systems to deliver an excellent HR service.</p><p>They will support HR colleagues to develop the people management capability of line managers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to handle staff management responsibilities.</p><p>As a critical member of the HR team, the post holder will support Trust Divisions, under the direction of the Senior HR Business Partner, to deliver the Trust’s People strategy.</p><p>The post holder may also be required to take a supportive role on some Trust wide initiative / developments or HR projects.</p><p>They will deputise for the HR Manager when required.
