Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Design & Technology lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum standards.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
* Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Assess individual student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning journey.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student interventions.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
Requirements
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
* Proven experience teaching Design & Technology in a primary or secondary school setting.
* Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Strong ability to engage and inspire students through creative teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
