Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s residential home in Leicestershire.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets Ofsted standards and provides the highest level of care and support. You’ll lead a committed team, promote a culture of warmth and professionalism, and ensure every child feels safe, valued and empowered.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
1. Register with Ofsted and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation
2. Lead and inspire a team of care professionals
3. Oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour strategies
4. Manage recruitment, training and staff development
5. Build strong relationships with external agencies and families
6. Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and data protection
7. Promote a nurturing, structured and empowering environment

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
22. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
23. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
24. Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation
25. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
26. A genuine passion for making a difference in young lives
