The Role
As a Cloud Engineer you will be at the forefront of enabling secure, scalable and mission-critical cloud capabilities working collaboratively to design, deploy and automate solutions.
Day-to-day, you will help deliver next-generation services across complex operational environments building and configuring cloud services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing, implementing and maintaining secure scalable cloud-based solutions across public, private and hybrid environments
* Developing and maintaining infrastructure as Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates
* Automating deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention
* Collaborating closely with other teams to enable smooth application deployments documenting the designs
* Monitoring cloud environments for performance, availability, cost optimisation and security compliance
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards
Essential experience of the Cloud Engineer:
* Previous experience in designing, deploying and managing solutions in AWS
* Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
* Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
* Previous experience with containers and orchestration such as Kubernetes
* The ability to produce strong documentation and speak with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Essential qualifications for the Cloud Engineer:

This role is 37 hours per week based at either Malvern or Farnborough. Hybrid working patterns available.
