As a result of continued expansion in the reablement service, we are seeking an Assistant Team Manager to work alongside our existing leadership structure. This role is about leadership, collaboration, and making a real difference!
About the role
We are looking for a confident and passionate leader to help shape our Reablement service in Wiltshire.
Reablement is a short-term service that helps people stay independent. Led by therapists, it offers practical support, advice, and equipment to help individuals reach their goals using their own strengths and community resources.
Key responsibilities
* Guide a skilled team of therapists and social care practitioners.
* Design creative support plans and support people following their discharge from hospital to reorient to their home environment and routines, which may include new adjustments.
* Connect people with their communities.
* Ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with professional standards.
* Support the Team Manager in overseeing service delivery and responding to queries, including case scenarios.
* Supervise staff and promote support for staff development.
* Lead on quality assurance and staff development, including induction processes and performance management.
* Promote integrated working with health partners, voluntary groups, and local services.
