Overview
Reporting to the site Asset Care Manager, the role has primary responsibility for Engineering planning function, the advancement of Condition Based and Reliability centred maintenance techniques as part of the site Asset care plan, utilizing the company Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP.
This role works with the Asset Care Manager and leads the Planners to develop appropriate Autonomous and Professional Maintenance plans, upload them into SAP and drive adherence to plan within the site.
As a part of the Engineering function, the role works with the site to strive to achieve optimal operational efficiency at the lowest cost through the delivery of targets against the strategic objectives of the function:

The role works closely with the Engineering Team Leaders, Manufacturing Operations and Production Planning, to ensure the delivery of both the production plan and the planned maintenance activity. In doing so they ensure their site is working to attain optimum efficiencies, effectiveness and profitability, initiating and implementing change as appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
* Own and lead Engineering planning activities, advancing Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) techniques as part of the site Asset Care plan.
* Utilise the CMMS/SAP to plan, schedule and monitor maintenance activities; upload Autonomous and Professional Maintenance plans and drive adherence.
* Collaborate with Asset Care Manager, Planners, and cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance plans align with production and site objectives.
* Support the site in achieving optimal operational efficiency at the lowest cost by delivering targets aligned to the function's strategic objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
* HNC/HND calibre; hands-on experience in an operational and engineering environment with a track record of world-class asset care implementation within the manufacturing sector.
* Strong grounding in advanced Asset Management techniques such as CBM and RCM.
* Demonstrable track record of achieving results and managing change.
* Strong operational grounding within a complex, fast-moving manufacturing environment.
* Experience with World Class Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Experience delivering results against financial targets, service levels and safety standards.
* Good knowledge of established manufacturing processes with awareness of developing technologies and techniques.
* Working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
* Good practical understanding of factory services (electricity, steam, compressed air, water, etc.).
