The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated learning, communication and behavioural needs.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working with students aged 10 to 17 across primary and secondary provisions.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with SEN and ASD on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with personalised learning plans and differentiated activities
* Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing
* Supporting communication, social interaction and independence
* Working closely with teachers and specialist staff

Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children or young people with SEN needs
* A patient, resilient and caring approach
* Ability to work across both primary and secondary age groups
* Commitment to a full-time role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
