Job Description
Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from business need to contract award, delivering significant commercial value on high-value, medium-risk opportunities.
Implement and manage category sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve and exceed defined savings targets.
Ensure full compliance with procurement regulations, governance, and risk controls, including OJEU requirements where applicable.
Negotiate complex contracts to secure sourcing-driven savings, working closely with finance and business teams to realise budgeted benefits.
Drive innovation through sourcing-led solutions that address business challenges and support continuous improvement.
Support seamless supplier transitions post-contract and contribute to long-term supplier relationships and performance management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Sourcing Manager should have:
Deep level of Sourcing experience, with a demonstrable track record of savings delivery
Demonstrable level of negotiation and dispute resolution skill set
Demonstrable experience of driving value from complex sourcing opportunities
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
