Geo-Environmental Technician
Location: Taunton
Reference: BY1855
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Are you a recent graduate with a degree in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, geography or earth science. You'll be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the team and step into the ground investigation industry, developing skills and kickstarting your career.
The successful Geo-Environmental Technician will be:
* Taking soil samples for assessment.
* Groundwater and gas monitoring.
* Carrying out contamination analysis and soakaway testing.
* Carrying out groundwork and assisting geotechnical engineers on projects.
* Working outdoors in all conditions, with lifting and heavy duty conditions to acknowledge.

To be considered for this Geo-Environmental Technician role you should hold a full UK driving licence (as travelling to sites will be frequent), be commutable or living in the Taunton area, have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, earth sciences or a similar relevant subject, have a full right to work in the UK and be willing to work in all demanding conditions.
