Abbots Care is an award-winning domiciliary care company in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Our community-based care assistants provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible.
We are seeking kind and compassionate individuals to join our expanding team! We have been providing support and care within the community since 1995 to various service user types, including children and the elderly.

We are currently recruiting community care assistants to provide care in people's own homes in the St Albans and surrounding areas.
Previous experience in the care industry is not necessary, as comprehensive training is provided by our in-house training department.
You will need a full driving license with access to your own car to process your application.
Our pay rates are £13.00 per hour on weekdays and increase to £15.00 per hour on weekends, with working hours between 7am-10pm. Shift patterns include 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm, including alternate weekends.
We offer zero-hour contracts, as well as part-time and full contracts of up to 40 hours per week.
The role of a community care assistant includes:
* Providing support and care for our service users within their own homes
* Supporting and assisting with personal care
* Preparing meals and handling domestic tasks
* Administering medication
* Supporting service users with hobbies and social interests

* Contracts of up to 40 hours at a rate of £12.82 per hour on weekdays and £15.00 on weekends
